This 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of 1,500 997.2 variants produced worldwide and is finished in white with red accents. Power is from a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and factory options include black full leather sport seats, dynamic cornering lights, Sound Package Plus, PCM 3.0 with Extended Navigation, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and more. The car was sold new by Porsche Exchange in Highland Park, Illinois, and was offered as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle by Gaudin Porsche in Las Vegas before being acquired by the selling dealer in California three months ago. This 997.2 GT3 RS shows 9500 miles and is offered with a DME report, manufacturer’s literature, a build sheet, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title. Approximately 541 cars from the 997.2 generation were reportedly delivered to the US, and this example is finished in Carrara White with Guards Red mirrors, graphics, rear wing end plates, and grille trim. Lighting includes dynamic cornering lamps along with clear taillights. A new front spoiler was reportedly installed by Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas in September 2019. Factory red 19″ center-lock wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 245/35 front and 325/30 rear and showing 2019 date codes. Red six- and four-piston brake calipers are matched with cross-drilled steel rotors, and a brake fluid flush was performed in September 2019. The 997.2 GT3 RS featured a McPherson-strut front end combined with multi-link LSA rear suspension and came with Porsche Active Suspension Management as standard Leather and Alcantara sport seats with carbon fiber backs and optional embossed Porsche headrest crests are accented by red seat belts and door pulls. The three-spoke steering wheel, shift knob, handbrake, and sun visors are also trimmed in Alcantara, and branded floor mats protect the carpets. Amenities include Sound Package Plus, PCM 3.0 with Extended Navigation, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and XM satellite radio. The central tachometer indicates an 8,400-rpm redline and is flanked by a 225-mph speedometer on the left. Just over 9500 miles are shown on the odometer. The naturally-aspirated 3.8L flat-six was factory rated at 450 horsepower at 7,900 rpm and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The spark plugs and lightweight lithium battery were changed in September 2019 at Gaudin Porsche, who also performed a Certified Pre-Owned inspection.
